Tradezbird ("we," "us," or "our") operates the tradezbird.com website and the Tradezbird platform (the "Service"). This policy explains how we handle your personal data.
1. What We Collect
- Account data: Name, email, and password when you sign up. If you use Google sign-in, we receive your name, email, and profile picture.
- Payment data: Processed by Stripe. We receive subscription status, billing country, and last four digits of your card. We never store full card numbers.
- Platform data: Agent configurations, strategy descriptions, risk parameters, and trading preferences you create.
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, browser type, device type, IP address, and approximate location (country level).
- Cookies: Authentication cookies (required) and analytics cookies (with your consent where required by law). We do not use advertising cookies.
2. How We Use It
- Provide and operate the Service (account management, agent execution, billing).
- Process subscription payments and manage credit allocations via Stripe.
- Send account notifications and security alerts.
- Improve the Service based on usage patterns.
- Prevent fraud and enforce our terms.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Who We Share It With
We do not sell your data. We share it only with:
- Supabase - authentication and database hosting.
- Stripe - payment processing.
- Vercel - application hosting.
- Law enforcement - only when required by law, subpoena, or court order.
4. Data Retention
- Account data: Kept while your account is active, deleted within 30 days of account closure.
- Payment records: 7 years (tax/accounting requirements).
- Usage data: Up to 2 years in anonymized form.
5. Your Rights
All users can access, update, or delete their data through account settings or by emailing privacy@tradezbird.com.
EEA/UK Residents (GDPR)
You have additional rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection to processing, and the right to withdraw consent. Our legal bases for processing are contractual necessity, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligation. We respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
California Residents (CCPA)
You have the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising. We respond within 45 days.
6. Security
We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, secure authentication via Supabase Auth, and hashed API keys. No system is 100% secure, but we follow industry best practices to protect your data.
7. International Transfers
Data may be processed in the United States. For EEA/UK transfers, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable.
8. Children
The Service is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
9. Changes
We may update this policy and will post changes here with a revised date. Material changes will be communicated via email.
